Continue to Mazara del Vallo, a town with an Arab matrix, characterised by a tangle of small streets reminiscent of Islamic medinas. Of interest are the numerous churches, the cathedral in which many sarcophagi from the Roman era are preserved, and the Museum of the Dancing Satyr, which houses the bronze statue of the same name, over 2 metres tall, dating back to the Hellenistic period and found in the late 1990s by a local fishing boat.
