UVET CONGRESS AND LEARNING S.R.L.

Segesta & Erice

Starting from 90
Days of execution: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

You will start with Segesta, with its impressive Solitaire Temple, in pure Doric style, one of the best preserved temples of antiquity. You will also visit the Theatre of Segesta, built during the 3rd century B.C., whose location offers a breathtaking view of the landscape that opens up all around the ancient city with a Mediterranean scrub consisting of agaves and broom plants. This is followed by an unmissable walk through the charming medieval village of Erice, situated on the top of a mountain overlooking the entire western coast of Trapani. A village of unchanged old-world charm, characterised by narrow, winding streets, medieval arches and typical decorated courtyards, it is home to places of interest of particular note: the 14th-century Matrix and Bell Tower and the Castle of Venus. Thanks to its altitude, there is a splendid 360° panoramic view: on one side the Gulf of Trapani, the salt pans, the Egadi Islands with spectacular sunsets, and on the other the immense valley of Valderice and the inland countryside.
